With the summer season just around the corner, Panerai has launched a new diver’s watch in the form of a steel bracelet. The Submersible Blu Notte is the main character, and it is interesting in that it is the first model in the Submersible Collection to use a steel bracelet.

Presented in an all-brushed stainless steel case measuring 42 mm, it is fastened with a steel bracelet connected by a unique link, inspired by the iconic Crown Guard (safety lock crown protector), which Panerai previously patented. You can tell it’s a replica Panerai watch.
The deep blue dial, reminiscent of the sea of the night, emphasizes a seductive impression, as is evident from the name with note, which means ‘night’ in Italian. Rhodium-plated and polished hour markers and dotted indexes are placed on a blue dial with a finely-grained sunray-brushed finish and lined with white Super-LumiNova to ensure sufficient readability in the dark. The insert material of the unidirectional rotating steel bezel is made of blue ceramic with a matte finish to match the color of the dial.
The movement is equipped with a single-barrel in-house automatic caliber P.900 with small overtime seconds and date display (frequency 4 Hz, power reserve approx. 72 hours). As it is a professional diver’s fake watches specification that supports 300m water resistance, the movement is not exposed by applying a steel screw caseback.
For your reference, in addition to the basic steel bracelet, a Velcro SPOTECH strap with blue stitching on a black background is additionally provided with a replacement tool. Although it is a bit far from the quick change system that is popular these days, the spring bar can be easily removed by lightly pressing the corrector-shaped part located on one side of the lugs on both sides of the case (at this time, replacing the strap), and vice versa. This is Panerai’s unique strap change system, which is already often seen in the Luminor and Submersible collections. The watch is delivered in a case made of recycled ABS plastic with all components.
The Submersible Blue Note (Ref. PAM01068) is a regular model, not a limited edition, and it looks like it will continue to be seen in the collection for a while. The retail price is set at 10,500 EUR. It will be released in Korea soon, so if you are interested, please contact the Panerai store in your nearest department store.
